Gillum hired as alumni and annual giving officer

Morehead State University’s Office of Alumni Relations and Development has announced the hiring of David Ray Gillum as alumni and annual giving officer.

A native of Sandy Hook, Gillum comes from MSU’s Office of Enrollment Services, where he has spent more than two years as an Enrollment Services Counselor.

Gillum graduated from MSU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 2013. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in communication.

“I am thrilled to be able to continue serving my alma mater in this new position,” said Gillum. “MSU has positively impacted the lives of thousands of graduates. I look forward to being able to develop relationships with our alumni and reconnect them to our incredible institution.”

Through his position, David will be overseeing the annual phonathon program at the Student Call Center, coordinating student and young alumni engagement programs, promoting membership in the MSU Alumni Association and more.
