In its 11th year, the program is a collaboration between MSU, Kentucky Office for the Blind, Kentucky School for the Blind, Kentucky Education Development Corporation (KEDC), and KSB Charitable Foundation.

Participating in this year’s camp were: Callie Boone, Campbellsville; Mason Buckingham, Lone Oak; Dalton Lee Buckner, Vanceburg;  Abbey Cassidy, South Shore; Dylan Glunt, Paducah; Chloe Harris, Barbourville; Jacob Hack, Morgantown; Justin Hedges, La Grange; Amelia Lillie, Louisville; Shane Lowe, Louisville; Andy Luna, Bowling Green; Miguel Magallanes, Louisville; Jordan Morris, Georgetown; Megan Peskoe, Louisville; Chris Popp, Covington; Caden Rich, Shepherdsville; Jordan Richter, Louisville; Josh Rister, Garrison; Jimmy Robinson, Lexington; Jared Simpson, La Grange; Landon Thompson, Campbellsville; and Logan Vanmeter, Leitchfield.

The program is offered to students who have completed the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and is designed to give them a real world college experience, including living in a residence hall, attending academic classes, and practicing orientation and mobility skills in a campus environment. Although a number of INSIGHT alums have gone on to enroll at MSU, what is learned through the program are highly transferrable college skills that will support success at any postsecondary institution.
