Board of Regents to meet Dec. 7

The Morehead State University Board of Regents will hear a number of reports at its meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 at the Center for Health, Education and Research (CHER).

The board will hear the final fall enrollment and housing report, on addition to reports on Eagle Outreach, Eagle Scholars and the University's Insurance and Benefits plan for 2018. 

Additionally, the board will: 

• Approve the changing the name of the College of Business and Technology to the Elmer R. Smith College of Business and Technology
• Accept the 2016-17 audit report and amend the current operating budget
• Approve the list of graduates for the fall semester
• Approve Personnel Policy PG-64, the University's tobacco usage policy
• Ratify 2018-2020 biennial budget requests
• Set the 2018 board meeting schedule

After the board meeting, a signing and topping-off ceremony will be held for the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) at 4:15 p.m. A reception will follow at 5 p.m. at the Space Science Center.
