Free KAS annual memberships for faculty, staff and students
Kentucky Academy of Science has announced that Morehead State University is a 2018 Kentucky Academy of Science (KAS) Enhanced Affiliate and any MSU faculty, staff and students may join KAS for free.
KAS is a nonprofit organization fostering scientific discovery and understanding in Kentucky. The KAS currently has 4,000 members, an all-time high.
Membership in KAS is open to anyone with an interest in science. KAS members receive:
- News, announcements
- Job and research opportunities
- Eligibility to apply for research grants and publish in the Journal of the Kentucky Academy of Science (JKAS)
- Complimentary electronic access to the Journal
- Discounted KAS annual meeting registration fees.
Members also may join the Kentucky Science Speakers Bureau or search our database and connect with fellow scientists across Kentucky.
How to become a (free) KAS member:
- Visit www.kyscience.org
- Under membership, choose “become a member”
- Select “enhanced affiliate membership” and select Morehead State
- Use your Morehead State University e-mail address for registration.
If you are already a member of KAS your membership will be automatically updated for 2018 and no action is required.
