5K race-walk to support Backpacks for Kids program is March 31

Morehead State University’s Human Resource and Payroll office will host a 5K run/walk Saturday, March 31, to support the Rowan County Middle School’s Backpacks for Kids program.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. in the Academic-Athletic Center (AAC) parking lot. The race will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The cost of the race is $5 pre-registration and $10 the day of the race. The first 50 people to pre-register (by March 22) will receive a free T-shirt.

Participants also can bring granola bars, ramen noodles, fruit snacks (gummy), macaroni and cheese cups and pop tarts.
