‘BFA Art and Design Exhibition’ opens April 25
The main gallery of Morehead State University's Claypool-Young Art Building will host its "2018 Annual BFA Art and Design Exhibition,” April 25 through May 9.
The third annual show is an opportunity for MSU Department of Art and Design B.F.A. degree candidates to exhibit as emerging artists in a large group exhibition.
The exhibitions open with a reception featuring live music by MSU Jazz students and complimentary refreshments on Wednesday, April 25, from 5-7 p.m. All B.F.A candidates will give brief artist talks about their work starting at 3 p.m. in the gallery.
Participating artists include: Kaitlyn Campbell, Prestonsburg; Meghan Courtney, Florence; Sarah Farmer, Winchester; Maggie Flanagan, Morehead; Gabriela (Stefany) Moran, Winchester and Sean Porter, Morehead.
The gallery, within Claypool-Young, features contemporary art for the MSU community as well as the University’s service region.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment, and is free and open to the public. Parking is available on Main Street and across campus after 5 p.m.
