Campuswide Earth Day celebration planned

Earth-Day-E.pngMorehead State University’s Earthwise Eagles will hold its annual Campuswide Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn of Allie Young Hall.

The event will include a free concert featuring performances by Byrd Law, the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music (KCTM) Mountain Music Ambassadors, Bedford and The Woodsheep. The concert begins at 10:30 a.m. and will run for the duration of the celebration.

The event will also include the annual Recyclemania Poster Contest, an MSU Horticulture plant and herb sale, Bee Campus USA and Tree Campus USA celebrations, demonstrations, information about sustainable living and campus/community environmental organizations, eco-friendly games, prizes and giveaways.  All events are free and open to the public.
