Eagle bowlers to compete in ITC
Morehead State University men’s bowling team will compete in the 2018 United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC), which opens Thursday at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Eagles qualified for the ITC by finishing fourth in the Stratford, New Jersey, sectional qualifier.
Under the leadership of Coach Eric Spurlock, the men made it to the national tournament for three straight years.
The men's bowling squad finished in the top 10 in the 2002-03 and 2004-05 seasons. The Eagles were runners-up in the 2003 tournament and took third place in 2005.
Team members include: Zach Carter, Portage, Indiana, sophomore; Terry Creech III, Fairfield, Ohio, sophomore; Mark Curtis Jr., Torrance, California, senior; Mitchell Hehn, Cincinnati, junior; Ryan Henderson, New Orleans, Louisiana, senior; Tiler Levesque, Acushnet, Massachusetts, sophomore; and Michael McCubbins, Louisville, senior.
