The Kentucky Center for Traditional Music Finale Concert set for May 1

Morehead State University’s Kentucky Center for Traditional Music will present “Sounds Of Our Heritage,” an evening of traditional music, at the Morehead Conference Center, Tuesday, May 1, at 7 p.m.

This concert is the spring semester finale. Come enjoy bluegrass, old time, country, western swing, blues, ballad singing, and gospel music performed by traditional music student ensembles.

Some of the students who will be performing have represented Morehead State and mountain music and culture regionally and internationally at concerts and festivals and have been broadcast on television and radio.

The concert is free and open to the public.
