Holbrook appointed to MSU Board of Regents

MSU SealGov. Matt Bevin has appointed Sanford Holbrook of Mt. Olivet to the Morehead State University Board of Regents.
 
“I am extremely pleased with the appointment of Mr. Holbrook to our Board of Regents,” said President Jay Morgan. “As an alumnus of MSU and an outstanding educator, he will be a tremendous asset as we work together to move the University forward.”
 
Holbrook, superintendent of Robertson County Schools, is a two-time graduate of Morehead State University. He has previously served as an assistant superintendent, principal of an Area Technology Center, Career Technical Education coordinator, and agriculture education teacher.
 
He is a member of Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS), Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) and Kentucky Education Association (KEA).
 
MSU’s 11-member governing board is comprised of eight citizens appointed by the governor and elected representatives of the faculty, staff and students.
