Hogge joins Transition Center team
The Office of Transition Services in the Office of Enrollment Services is pleased to announce the addition of Amanda Hogge, who will serve as enrollment services counselor for regional campuses and transfer advisor for the Lexington area.
Hogge will be based at Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC). She will travel among the campuses of BCTC, Maysville Community and Technical College, Gateway Community and Technical College and Jefferson Community and Technical College to assist transfer students with admissions, advising and other student services. She will meet with students, faculty and staff to inform them of the exciting opportunities available to transfer students at MSU such as regional campuses, online degree completer programs, joint admission and transfer scholarships.
A Bath County native, Hogge has worked as an undergraduate enrollment counselor for the past five years and will now assume the role of transition counselor.
“The thing I am most looking forward to is working with students across all walks of life,” Hogge said. “Hearing their stories and being able to help them navigate to finish their college degree will be so rewarding.”
“I am excited to join the transfer team. Having worked with incoming freshmen the last five and a half years has been great, but I am anxious to get started working with transfer students, not only with just admissions but advising as well.”
