Career Fair held Oct. 2
More than 100 employers were present at Morehead State’s Fall Career Fair Tuesday, Oct. 2, where students expanded their professional network and got a foot in the door with different organizations.
The Career Fair allows students to connect with potential employers and explore internship and graduate school opportunities.
“So, I think for me it’s just connecting with students and having that face-to-face contact is really important,” said Betsy Macke, assistant director of admissions for the College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati.
Students do not have to be seniors to attend the Career Fair; freshmen, sophomores and juniors can get experience from the opportunity as well.
“The Career Fair is a really great way for students to network, especially if they’re freshman to juniors,” said Alexis Mathews, an MSU Communications graduate student. “For seniors I think it’s a really great way to get out there and see some jobs that they may not realize are available for them. But also, there are graduate schools here, too, and students may realize that graduate school is an option.”
