MSPR Fall Fundraiser and membership drive is Oct. 29-Nov. 2

Morehead State Public Radio (MSPR) kicks off its annual fall fundraiser and membership dive Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 and is asking for support in providing quality programming to listeners in Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia and Southeast Ohio.

MSPR (WMKY-90.3FM) is the nonprofit public radio service from Morehead State University. WMKY has served Eastern Kentucky since 1965, broadcasting to more than 20 counties throughout the region with locally-hosted news, public affairs and a variety of music programs including bluegrass, classical, folk and jazz.
WMKY also partners with KET to broadcast several statewide news programs including “Comment on Kentucky.”

The goal is to raise $15,000 and 200 members. Every dollar goes directly towards programming and student work-studies. The number of members is important to receive grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Every gift counts as financial and membership support.

To contribute, use the secure, online “pledge now” form under the “support us” tab at the top of WMKY’s website at www.wmky.org, call 606-783-2001 or mail checks to: WMKY Radio, Box 903, Morehead State University, Morehead, KY, 40351.
