Political Science program hosts ‘Meet Your Public Officials’ forum
Morehead State’s Political Science program is co-sponsoring a series of panel discussions organized by The Kentucky Young Democrats on Saturday, Nov.17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 325 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).
The “Meet Your Public Officials” event will feature presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions with local elected officials and candidates from across the region, including:
“People should attend because it’s a great opportunity to get to know their public officials,” said Dr. Johnathan Pidluzny, MSU associate professor of government. “While national politics often sucks up all the oxygen, especially in our divided times, many of the decisions that affect us more directly are made at the state and local levels.”

- Chad Aull, former Kentucky Young Democrats president
- Denise Gray, former candidate for Kentucky Senate, District 28.
- Ryan Mosley, former candidate for Kentucky House of Representatives, District 92.
- Sarah Kimbler, former candidate for Paintsville City Council.
- Nicole Erwin, Kentucky Democratic Party communications director.
