45 MSU students earn Adobe national certification

Several Morehead State University students that are gaining knowledge inside the classroom have just increased their skill sets for when they leave the classroom. MSU students have earned 45 Adobe Certified Associate national certifications during the Fall 2018 term.  

“Digital Media and Technology Certifications are key assets to helping our students be more competitive in today’s fast-paced, highly demanding, technology-driven work environment,” said Tony Glover, technology advisor to the Adobe Certification Program at MSU.

The semester’s results are as follows:  
  • Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop - 19 students passed their certification exam. Highest score belongs to Lianna Spurrier (senior, Louisville) and Matthew Bryant (senior, Nicholasville).  
  • Graphic Design and Illustration using Adobe Illustrator - 17 students passed their certification exam. Highest score belongs to Emma Christine Humphress (junior, Lebanon).
  • Print and Digital Publication using Adobe InDesign - 2 students passed their certification exam (only 2 exams were taken). Highest score belongs to Lianna Spurrier (senior, Louisville).
  • Digital Video using Adobe Premiere Pro - 5 students passed their certification exam (only 5 exams were taken). Highest score belongs to Grant Daniel Johnson (junior, Fishers, Indiana).
  • Graphic Design Specialist – 2 certifications earned by students who has passed the Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop exams. Awarded to Lianna Spurrier (senior, Louisville) and Brian Tyler Leming (senior, Flemingsburg).
