Board of Regents holds quarterly meeting

The Morehead State University Board of Regents held its quarterly meeting today (Thursday, Dec. 6) in the Adron Doran University Center.  

President Jay Morgan and the board recognized Dr. Melinda Willis, associate professor of education; Dr. Kim Nettleton, associate professor of education; Donnie Willoughby, landscaping and grounds manager; Olivia Lohmeier, sophomore volleyball team member; and Brandon Bryer, senior rifle team member, for their outstanding leadership, service and dedication to the University. 

The Board of Regents approved the establishment of a new academic program, the Bachelor of Science in Space Science Engineering. The board was presented an audit report and affirmed an amendment to the University’s operating budget. 

In other business, the board heard reports on Fall 2018 enrollment and employment health insurance benefits for 2019 and approved a personnel policy regarding acceptable use of technology resources.
