Eagle Explosion postponed

Update: Eagle Explosion is postponed due to inclement weather. The new date for the event is TBA.

-------

Students will have a chance to learn about how to get involved on campus during Eagle Explosion, which will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the first and second floors of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).

The event is open to all registered student organizations and University departments and offices, including Greek organizations, religious student groups, club sports, departmental clubs, the Recreation and Wellness Center, the Student Government Association and more.

Sami Case, staff assistant for programming and engagement, said being involved while in college teaches students skills they can use in the real world.

“Staying involved requires organization and time management, skills students learn to transfer to future employment,” he said. “Plus, it’s fun.” Case added getting involved in organizations on campus is a great way to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, relieve the stress of studying, and to develop leadership skills.
