Annual Rogers Gender Studies Contest open for submissions
Submissions are now being accepted for the 15th Annual Judy Rogers Gender Studies Art, Media and Writing Contest, sponsored by Morehead State’s Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Gender Studies program.
The contest is open exclusively to current MSU students and must offer original insights or novel approaches to gender studies issues in American culture or the world at large.
Writing submissions must be no longer than 10 pages long and must include a cover sheet with the author’s contact information including email. Art submission can be made of any media, must be exhibit ready and must include a label with the artist’s name and contact information including email. 3-D art submission must be no larger than 24”x24” and 2-D art submissions must be no larger than 30”x30”.
Cash Prizes will be awarded as follows:
The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 25. Visual artworks, CDs or DVDs should be delivered to Breckinridge Hall Room 111. Written submissions should be emailed to a.andoloro@moreheadstate.edu.
