SSWC to screen “Dinkheller” documentary
The Department of Sociology, Social Work and Criminology will screen the award-winning documentary “Dinkheller” on Monday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. in the Adron Doran University Center, Ballroom BC.
The documentary from filmmaker Patrick W. Shaver examines the investigation of the murder of Georgia Deputy Kyle Dinkheller, which was captured on the dash-mounted camera in his police cruiser. Shaver, who directed the film, will attend the screening and will conduct a question and answer session after the film. The event is free and open to the public.
"Dinkheller” won Best Documentary Directing at the Colorado International Film Festival and Best South Carolina Film at the South Carolina Underground Film Festival.
