Student orientation dates announced for 2019

Before first-year Morehead State University students can come to campus and get started living the life of a full-time MSU Eagle in Fall 2019, they will get the next best thing this spring and summer. 

Morehead State University will host several Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) programs in preparation for the 2019 fall semester and students may register online.

To help students excel academically and graduate on time, MSU requires all new, first-time and transferring students to attend SOAR.

During SOAR, students learn about programs, courses and life at MSU, prepare a schedule for the coming semester, meet with faculty and their advisor, and receive assistance with financial aid and paying for college.
Students also learn about campus traditions and opportunities to develop essential leadership skills.
The 2019 SOAR dates are:

• Friday, April 19 - Eagle Scholars Only (students that participated in early college through MSU).
• Saturday, April 20 - New Students
• Wednesday, June 5 - New Students 
• Thursday, June 6 - New Students 
• Friday, June 7 - Transfer Students 
• Thursday, June 20 - New Students 
• Friday, June 21 - New Students 
• Thursday, July 11 - New Students 
• Friday, July 12 - Transfer Students 

Preregistration for each SOAR program is necessary because of limited space. To register for SOAR, students must be accepted and must have paid their enrollment deposit. Visit www.moreheadstate.edu/confirm to confirm enrollment and pay the enrollment deposit.
