Hundreds of high schoolers visit MSU for ACT Day
High school students from several Kentucky counties were able to get a glimpse of the authentic Morehead State University experience during MSU’s ACT Day, which took place on Tuesday, March 12.
While many high school juniors were at their home schools completing the ACT exam, students from Breathitt County High School, Menifee County High School, Woodford County High School and Bryan Station High School in Lexington were shown several MSU facilities. Groups went on tours that highlighted the Recreation and Wellness Center, The Rock Dining Commons and the newly renovated Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).
Pamela Wright, enrollment services counselor at MSU, said ACT day gives the nearly 800 high school students in attendance this year look at college life at MSU.
“The majority of these high school students are visiting a college campus for the first time,” Wright said. “MSU provides an opportunity for the students to engage with their peers and get an authentic feel for our campus environment and the students who attend.”
