MSU hosts Lt. Governor's Entrepreneurship Challenge regional competition
Morehead State hosted high school students from Eastern Kentucky on Thursday, March 28, for a regional competition of the Lt. Governor's Entrepreneurship Challenge.
Other regional competitions were held this week in Madisonville and Louisville. Regional winners will compete in the finals next month.
Lt. Gov. Jenean Hampton was on campus to interact with students participating in the competition.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Entrepreneurship Challenge (LGEC) is a pitch competition for all Kentucky high school students grades 9-12. The goal is to introduce students to a realistic business environment, highlight entrepreneurial values, promote business ownership, and encourage lifelong learning.
