Secretary Grimes to present Military Civic Health Report at MSU

Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, Ashland Middle School “BeneVETS 4 The Brave” app creators, and others will speak to veteran students, faculty, staff, administrators, local elected officials and community members about the first-ever Kentucky Military Civic Health Report centered on veterans’ civic engagement and community involvement. The event is open to the public and will take place Wednesday, April 17, at 11:30 a.m. in Room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center on the campus of Morehead State University.

The report serves as a resource for our veterans in starting businesses, employment, military and overseas voting, civic participation, VSO information, and other government agencies and services available to them here in the Commonwealth. It also covers ways for our civilians to connect with our military community and their families.

MSU is nationally recognized as one of the top military- and veteran-friendly schools in the nation.
