Business program ranked among most affordable

Morehead State has a long-standing reputation for offering a world-class education at an affordable price. That reputation has been reinforced when MSU was included in Greatbusinessschools.com's list of the Top 10 Most Affordable Business Bachelor's Degrees for 2020.

MSU is ranked at number seven on the list, which includes schools of all sizes from across the country. Schools mentioned on the list were evaluated based on price, accreditation, rankings and student reviews, and have an established national reputation for quality.

"We are thrilled to be recognized for providing great programs in business for our students at affordable prices," said Dr. Johnathan Nelson, associate dean of the Elmer R. Smith College of Business and Technology and associate professor of management. "Beyond having excellent faculty and strong academic programs, we are most proud of the relationships that our faculty build with students. Whether this is through faculty-student research, student clubs, entrepreneurship competitions, or course experiences, our faculty know our students and are willing to go above and beyond to help them succeed."

Students can choose from several options for their degree, including marketing, finance, accounting and more. MSU also offers an online completer program, where students who have met general education and prerequisite requirements can finish their degrees online, making the program an ideal option for working professionals looking to enhance their education.
