Miss Kentucky to visit MSU for information session
Morehead State's Office of Student Activities will host Miss Kentucky 2019 Alex Francke for a Miss Kentucky information session and workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Room 325 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).
The workshop, titled “Girls Just Wanna Have Funds,” will show what potential contestants need to compete at Miss Kentucky, what the role looks like and how to get connected to the resources necessary to compete.
Francke, a native of Lexington, is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business & Economics, where she majored in business management with a minor in international business. Her social impact initiative is Adopt an Art, a nonprofit she founded in 2014 to provide public schools and community programs with high-quality art lessons and classes free of charge.
