MSU Family Weekend activities held
MSU students, friends and relatives all got to feel like One Eagle Family this past weekend during the 41st Annual Family Weekend, which took place Friday, Sept. 13, through Sunday, Sept.15.
Friday’s activities included a Family Dinner at The Rock Dining Commons. Following a game where the Eagle Soccer Team took on Wright State University (insert score here), there was a Family Movie Night held on the lawn of Andrews Hall.
Saturday’s events included a Family Association Brunch and an Eagle Family Picnic at the Academic-Athletic Center parking lot before the MSU Football Eagles played Kentucky Christian University (insert score here).
There were also planetarium and laser shows that could be enjoyed at the Star Theater during the day on Saturday.
Throughout the weekend, students and their families were able to explore and enjoy MSU’s Recreation and Wellness Center, view different types of art at the Kentucky Folk Art Center and the Golding-Yang Art Gallery, and pick up MSU merchandise at the University Store.
