Equestrian teams to host shows
Morehead State's Equestrian teams will host two home shows in November.
An Intercollegiate Saddle Seat Riding Association (ISSRA) show will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. for Saddle Seat teams from MSU, the University of Kentucky (UK), the University of Louisville (U of L) and Georgetown College.
Four Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) shows will be held the weekend of November 23-24 for Western and Hunt Seat teams from MSU, UK, U of L, Georgetown College, the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Miami University of Ohio, Midway University and Northern Kentucky University.
All shows are located at the Derrickson Agricultural Complex, MSU's 325-acre farm, located approximately seven miles from campus off Cranston Road, north of Morehead. The Equestrian teams are made up of students from across all class standings and majors, including Craft Academy students.
