MSU hosts GEMS workshop
Morehead State’s Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics partnered with the Wilderness Road Girl Scout Council to host the 15th Annual Girls in Engineering, Mathematics and Science (GEMS) workshop on Saturday, Nov. 9, on the MSU campus.
More than 300 girls participated in the event, that included hands-on workshops led by state-wide STEM experts, discussions and activities focused on science and math. More than 20 Craft Academy students and members of Kappa Delta sorority volunteered to support the event.
