Annual holiday arts and crafts fair to be held Dec. 7
The 35th Annual Appalachian Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Community Center inside Laughlin Health Building, 100 University Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sponsored by the Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC) and Downtown Morehead Inc., the fair will have more than 100 juried vendors and will offer handcrafted jewelry, baskets, wood crafts, ceramics, brooms, chairs, homemade baked goods and much more. Tammy Stone, the administrative coordinator at KFAC, said the fair gives patrons a chance to find unique holiday gifts.
“It’s an opportunity for customers to purchase original artisan handcrafted work directly from the artist or vendor,” Stone said.
Admission to the fair is $3 for adults, free for children 12 and under.
