Delta Tau Delta holds toy drive

Delta Tau Delta Fraternity coordinated a toy drive for Gateway Helping Hands. Gateway Helping Hands is providing jackets and coats to children in Rowan County who need winter clothing, and members of the fraternity wanted to organize an event that would allow these same children to receive toys for Christmas.

The toy drive ran from Nov. 18 to Dec. 6. Through new toy donations and monetary collections, Delta Tau Delta was able to donate over 200 new toys to Gateway Helping Hands.

"Delt was excited to host a toy drive for Gateway Helping Hands," said Delta Tau Delta Vice President Cameron Faudere, a senior from Owingsville. "Our fraternity understands the importance of giving back during the holiday season. A small toy can bring great joy to a child. That's what it is all about."
