MSU Board of Regents holds quarterly meeting

The Morehead State University Board of Regents met Thursday, Dec. 5, at 9:30 a.m. in the Heritage Room of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).  

During the meeting donors and outstanding students, faculty and staff were recognized. Mountain Telephone was honored for their ongoing support of scholarships at MSU. Quentin Murphy, assistant general manager, and Shayne Ison, general manager, represented Mountain Telephone who has partnered with MSU since 1988. Gardner May, recently retired director of facilities maintenance; Dr. Patricia Harrelson, associate professor of animal science; and Megan Rohmann, senior from Louisville, president of MSU4PAWS service dog training organization were also recognized. 

The board ratified the 2020-22 biennial budget request and heard reports on performance metrics, the strategic enrollment management plan, and personal service contracts. They also approved the Bachelor of Science in Systems Integration Engineering, reaffirmed Kentucky administrative regulations and authorized modification and consolidation of existing lease agreements.
