Rites of Passage ceremony to be held
Morehead State University’s Office of Student Activities will sponsor the 37th Rites of Passage recognition ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the Adron Doran University Center in Ballrooms B and C.
The purpose of the ceremony is to recognize and celebrate the academic achievement of minority and international students at MSU. Each student will receive a certificate, a gift and a special Kente stole.
Students who will be recognized in the Rites of Passage ceremony for Fall 2019 include:
- Nasser Alsubaie, Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Computer Engineering and Technology, Morehead
- Eulaun Joshua Beasley, Master of Arts in Education, Lexington
- Sydnee B. Bradley, Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management, Louisville
- Shawntasia Butler, Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education – Moderate and Severe Disabilities, P-12 and P-5 Area, Clearfield
- Kiana Gilbert, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Louisville
