Student orientation dates announced for 2020
Morehead State welcomes incoming students to sign up for Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) to prepare for the fall semester.
To help students excel academically and graduate on time, MSU requires all new, first-time and transfer students to attend SOAR.
During SOAR, students build a course schedule, learn about opportunities for involvement and leadership, meet with faculty and advisors, sign up for housing and parking, and receive assistance with financial aid and scholarships.
The 2019 SOAR dates are:
- Thursday, April 16 - Eagle Scholars Only (students that completed dual-credit through MSU).
- Friday, April 17 - New Students (Eagle Scholars and recent high school graduates not transferring full-time from another college or university).
- Monday, May 18 - Transfer Students
- Tuesday, May 19 - New Students
- Wednesday, May 20 - New Students
- Saturday, June 6 - New Students
- Tuesday, June 23 - New Students
- Monday, July 13 - Transfer Students
- Tuesday, July 14 - New Students
Registration for each SOAR session is necessary due to limited space. To register for SOAR, students must be accepted and must have paid the enrollment deposit. Visit www.moreheadstate.edu/confirm to confirm enrollment and pay the enrollment deposit.
