Career and Internship Fair held March 4

Nearly 100 employers and graduate programs were on campus for Morehead State’s Spring Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 4. Students had the chance to expand their professional networks, apply for jobs and discover internship possibilities.

“We heard many positive things from employers regarding the preparation of MSU students in terms of professional dress and knowledge of the organizations,” said Megan Boone, director of the Office of Career Services. “Recruiters also expressed appreciation regarding the overwhelming hospitality offered by everyone at MSU.”

“We had a lot of good traffic and several great candidates; the decision on who to hire for an intern this summer will be difficult,” said Kay Moss, human resources manager at Stober Drives in Maysville.

The Career and Internship Fair allows students to connect with potential employers and explore internship and graduate school opportunities. Students from first-year students to graduate students attend the fair to learn more about career, internship and educational options. Nearly 500 students participated in the spring fair.
