MSU’s 2020 Spring Gala will be ‘On Broadway’ next month
Morehead State University’s most glamorous night and one of its biggest fundraisers for student success will have people humming a Broadway tune.
This year, MSU faculty, staff, students and friends of the University will be treated to a night in the limelight during the 2020 Spring Gala “On Broadway” at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Adron Doran University Center.
Guests will enjoy a reception featuring hors d’ oeuvres, wine, cocktails and a silent auction. This will be followed by dinner and a show courtesy of the talents of the faculty, staff and students from MSU’s Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. The evening’s show will feature showstopping hits from some of Broadway’s biggest musicals, including “Chicago,” “Hamilton,” “The Lion King,” “Grease,” “Cats,” “The Phantom of the Opera” and more. After the show concludes, guests will be able to enjoy dessert and dancing to close out the festivities.
The proceeds from this event, which raises approximately $100,000 annually, provide educational opportunities for MSU students. Tickets are on sale and the registration deadline is Friday, April 10.
