Craft Academy virtual graduation to be held May 16
The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics at Morehead State will hold a virtual graduation ceremony for its seniors on Saturday, May 16.
Students, staff, the graduation platform party and registered distinguished guests will attend a Zoom event at 11 a.m. The event will be recorded live, and a video of the ceremony will be made available to parents and family members. Distinguished guests who wish to attend the live recording must RSVP by emailing craftacademy@moreheadstate.edu by May 13.
“The Class of 2020 is the fourth graduating class in the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics. The class of 2020 raised the bar for other students to emulate,” said Dr. Carol Christian, director of the Craft Academy. “Whether attaining the highest class institutional GPA, participating in more research and internships to participating selflessly in numerous community service activities, each class stands on the shoulders of those who came before them, leaving their unique mark and legacy of high expectations and high performance.
“We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the class of 2020. We are grateful to the expertise and guidance from MSU faculty and appreciative of the parents that trusted them in our care on this amazing journey! A special thank you to the legislators and Dr. Joe Craft and Ambassador Kelly Craft in making this academy a reality.”
