MSU closed for Memorial Day

Morehead State University will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Online classes will not be held, and staff and administrative offices may be unavailable. Classes and administrative operations will resume Tuesday, May 26. The MSU campus will remain closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

The MSU Police Department will be available during the holiday. For non-emergencies, call 606-783-2035 or use the LiveSafe app. In the event of an emergency, always call 911.  

Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) will be held online for new and transfer students on the following dates:  

• June 1-5, attend Facebook live on June 4 or 5 at 1 p.m.
• June 22 - 26, attend Facebook live on June 23 at 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 8 - MSU at Mt. Sterling Students
• July 13-17, attend Facebook live on July 13 or 14 at 1 p.m.
