Safe for Success: Enroll at MSU for Fall 2020
If you are a new or returning student, you can still register for Morehead State University’s 2020 fall academic term.
Classes begin Monday, Aug. 17, at MSU and its regional campuses. Registration for Fall 2020 is available online at my.moreheadstate.edu.
Anyone considering attending MSU can still submit applications for the fall term to experience the academic excellence, supportive faculty and staff, and the authentic MSU experience so many current students and MSU alumni have experienced as part of the Eagle Nation.
Prospective students can apply online at www.moreheadstate.edu/apply, or call the Office of Enrollment Services at 606-783-2000 or 800-585-6781. Your online application also serves as your scholarship application for institutional scholarships, and research and award additional financial support. Visit www.moreheadstate.edu/scholarships for more information.
At MSU, nearly 94% of our undergraduate students receive some type of financial aid. Our financial aid counselors are available to answer your questions and you can make an appointment by emailing finaid@moreheadstate.edu or visiting www.moreheadstate.edu/affording-college.
You can easily stay connected to the MSU community while being closer to everything the University has to offer by living on campus. MSU is adjusting to a new set of expectations and practices as we continue to conduct our daily lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are demonstrating our Commitment to the Commonwealth with several initiatives to help families during this unprecedented time.
MSU commits to:
- No increases to tuition or fees for the next academic year
- No requirements for standardized test scores for general admission for the fall 2020 semester
- Offering online summer courses and fall courses in a variety of formats.

This year’s move-in process will be different than prior and future ones. What will not change is our commitment to providing a plan and a process that allows you to move into your new home in the most convenient, safest, and quickest way possible.
Unlike years past, where buildings/floors have had windows of time for moving in, both returning students and new students will need to schedule a specific date and time for move-in. Scheduled move-ins are available daily from Aug. 8 through Aug. 16, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Spaces are limited during each block to allow for adequate social distancing and reduced crowds. Move-in windows are three hours in length and will be firmly enforced.
More details about MSU move-in procedures can be found at www.moreheadstate.edu/movein.
Textbooks are available from the University Store, located in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) on the Morehead campus. Place orders by calling 888-STORE-05 or online at bookstore.moreheadstate.edu. Purchases will ship to the address specified by the student.
Meal plan selections for the fall semester are now available. To view and order a meal plan, go to the EagleCard web page at www.moreheadstate.edu/eaglecard. Additional information is available by contacting the EagleCard office at 606-783-2701.
Both University Store and meal plan purchases can be added to the student’s bill.
MSU also offers academic programs at several regional campuses and programs you can complete entirely online, for added flexibility and convenience. Find out more about our regional campuses by visiting www.moreheadstate.edu/locations or our online programs at www.moreheadstate.edu/online.
