Gov. Beshear appoints Arthur Walker III to Board of Regents

Gov. Andy Beshear has appointed Arthur Walker III to the Morehead State University Board of Regents.

Mr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Civil Engineering and resides in Mt. Sterling with his wife, Lisa. He is the President of Walker Construction and Materials, LLC, a highway construction and materials company. He also serves on the board of directors for Traditional Bank and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and has been active in several other professional organizations.

“We welcome Mr. Walker to our board and look forward to him joining our team,” said Dr. Jay Morgan, president of Morehead State University.

Arthur Walker III replaces Kathy Walker, whose term has expired. Mr. Walker III shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2026.
