Rayburn named CASE ASAP representative
Allie Rayburn, vice president of the Morehead State University Student Alumni Ambassadors, has been named the District 3 Representative for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (CASE ASAP). Rayburn was elected at the CASE ASAP District 3 Conference this past February, hosted by the University of Mississippi.
In her position, Rayburn will serve for two years and assist CASE with programming, services and resources for students and advisers involved in advancement activities. District 3 represents schools across the Southeast and all conferences. Rayburn, a native of Olive Hill, is a junior majoring in political science and public history.
“Being elected District 3 Representative for CASE ASAP has been a wonderful opportunity so far. I feel grateful to have been chosen to serve among seven other amazing student representatives throughout the country,” she said. “I’m so excited to get to serve as the connection between university advancement groups and CASE Headquarters these next two years”
CASE ASAP is comprised of student alumni associations at more than 300 CASE member institutions, including MSU. CASE ASAP's goal is “to foster and enhance student involvement in all areas of advancement - from alumni relations and communications to fundraising, marketing and related areas.”
Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) is a group of 30 dedicated MSU students who represent the University and serve as a link between current students and alumni. SAA members serve as the official host group of the University and the Alumni Association. While being active in the recruitment of new students and promoting Morehead State University.
