Hall recipient of Katie Fryman Memorial Scholarship
The Morehead State University Foundation has announced the recipient of the Katie Fryman Memorial Scholarship, a fund to benefit students at Morehead State University. The student receiving the award is Riley Hall, a 2020 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School.
The Katie Fryman Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 in honor of Katie Fryman, who passed away that same year. Fryman was a student at Rowan County Senior High School, an avid supporter of RCSHS sports, loved going to school and being with her friends. The recipient must be a full-time MSU incoming freshman and RCSHS graduate with a high school GPA of 3.5 or above.
“We are pleased to have been able to award the 2020 Katie Fryman Memorial Scholarship to Riley Hall. Riley represents the qualities in a person and student that the selection committee considers when awarding this scholarship. We wish Riley nothing but the best of luck in her future endeavors.” said the Fryman Family.
