Morehead State’s BSN nursing program accepting applications for the spring semester
Morehead State’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) pre-licensure program is accepting applicants for the spring 2022 semester through Friday, Oct. 15.
According to the Kentucky Board of Nursing, 98% of MSU nursing students passed their licensing exam in 2020, and the program has boasted a 100% job placement rate for the last decade.
“Nurses who graduate from RN programs can get a position immediately after graduation. As a matter of fact, several students have secured full-time RN positions in the senior year of the nursing program,” said Dr. Lynn Parsons, chair of the Department of Nursing. “We provide real-world experiences for our nursing students, which helps prepare them for their first practice position. Many have worked with COVID+ patients and have the requisite skill-set to provide hands-on care for acutely ill patients. We need to graduate as many nursing students as possible to augment an extremely busy RN workforce.”
Students are admitted to nursing programs through a selective application process, and acceptance to MSU does not guarantee acceptance to nursing programs.
Current students should submit a completed nursing application and their fall 2021 midterm grades. Transfer students should submit their completed nursing application, a copy of their ACT scores, a copy of their college/university transcripts, and a copy of their fall 2021 midterm grades or current progress grades.
All application materials should be submitted to:

Morehead, KY 40351
