MSU issues 30-Day Vaccination Challenge for campus community
One of Morehead State University’s highest priorities as an institution is maintaining the health and safety of the campus community. In that spirit, MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan is challenging students, faculty and staff in a 30-Day Vaccination Challenge.
MSU has issued a goal to get 75-80% of students and employees vaccinated. To be entered into a drawing to win prizes such as scholarships, textbooks, iPads and other awards, individuals will need to obtain at least one vaccine shot by Sept. 30 and upload their vaccine record between Sept. 1 and Oct. 1.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available for students and employees at MSU’s Counseling and Health Services in Allie Young Hall – call 606-783-2055 to schedule, at St. Claire HealthCare Pavillion in Morehead, and many pharmacies and other locations.
“I want to thank everyone across campus for the teamwork and dedication to get another school year off the ground,” said Dr. Jay Morgan, president of Morehead State University. “Our long-term success will hinge on continuing that teamwork.”
