MSU to host Family Weekend

Morehead State University will bring Eagle students and loved ones together during its annual Family Weekend. This year’s Family Weekend takes place Sept. 10-12.  

“We are so excited to bring back Family Weekend, which is one of our most popular legacy events,” said Jane Tenyer, assistant director of programming and engagement in the Office of Student Activities. “We can already feel the energy and excitement from our students being back on campus and we hope that our student’s families will join us for this fun-filled weekend.”  

Family Weekend Schedule:  

Friday, Sept. 10  

  • Eagle Soccer vs. VMI – 5 p.m., Recreation and Wellness Intramural Field (ticket required) 
  • Eagle Volleyball vs. University of Tennessee – 7 p.m., Academic and Athletic Center (AAC) (ticket required) 

Saturday, Sept. 11  

  • Family Food and Fun Tailgate – 11 a.m., AAC Parking Lot  
  • Eagle Football vs. Point (Georgia) – 2 p.m., Jayne Stadium (ticket required) 

Sunday, Sept. 12  

  • Grandparents Day Celebration – Noon (Social Media @CAB_MSU)  

The Family Food and Fun Tailgate will feature food, photo keychains and personalized stadium cushions. During the Eagle Football game, families can enter to win a chance for a $250 book scholarship for their student to be announced at the game.  

MSU will be selling an Eagle Family Sports Pass. The pass includes a general admission ticket to every MSU home game during Family Weekend. It is available for up to four immediate family members of an MSU student at a cost of $40 per pass. The pass can be purchased at eaglefamilysportspass.totalcamps.com
