Student film screening April 28
Morehead State's Convergent Media Program will hold a red-carpet event to screen student films on Thursday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Breckinridge Hall, room 001.
"Snapshot," a short film by Willard Ferguson, a senior convergent media major from Louisa, is the featured film. At 7 p.m., a brief meet-and-greet with the director, cast, and crew will be held in the lobby of Breckinridge Hall. Horror, film noir and avant-garde genres will be featured.
The works of several other convergent media majors will be featured at the event. They include:
"The premiere is going to be an opportunity to see the creative endeavors that our students have been up to over the last year or so," said Dr. Nettie Brock, assistant professor of communication. "Attending the event will be a fantastic chance to experience what a movie premiere is like, as well as have an opportunity to speak to these filmmakers about their creative process. This is mostly just intended to be a fun event at the end of the semester to enjoy the work of our students. The evening will be a fun time and is something that we hope to repeat in future semesters."
