Board of Regents meets June 16

Morehead State University’s Board of Regents will hold its quarterly meeting Thursday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m. in room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).   

Following the roll call, the regents will recognize students, faculty and staff for their contributions to the University.

Under the consent agenda, the regents will vote on the following:  
  • Ratify spring 2022 graduates.  
  • Ratify personnel actions, including approval of the 2022-23 University organizational chart, promotion of faculty, granting of emeritus status, new academic program certificates, and employment contracts.
In addition, the board will:   
  • Accept third-quarter financial report and ratify the amended operating budget.  
  • Approve the 2022-23 University operating budget, fee schedule, personnel roster and capital projects including renovation of Cooper Hall, Alumni Tower, Camden-Carroll Library HVAC/electrical system and recommended amendments to the Board of Regents' bylaws.
The regents will also hear a report from Vice President of Fiscal Services Mary Fister-Tucker, an update on the Student Government Association from Regent Emily Wiley, and a report from University President Dr. Jay Morgan. They will also conduct the president’s annual evaluation and review a summary of the board’s self-evaluation.
