MSU Eagles begin classes on Aug. 15

New students will arrive on the Morehead State University campus ready to soar higher in the 2022-23 academic year on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 11 and 12. Classes at MSU begin Monday, Aug. 15.

Faculty, staff, student organizations, Greek life, athletic teams and the community will welcome new students. During Move-In Days, volunteers will assist students and families in finding their way and moving into their residence halls. For more information, visit www.moreheadstate.edu/move-in.

To support the success of our new students, New Student Days will kick off the fall 2022 semester, providing inspiration, encouragement and skills for college success. Find the New Student Days schedule at www.moreheadstate.edu/newstudentdays.

There is still time to apply for admission. If you are interested in becoming an MSU Eagle, visit www.moreheadstate.edu/apply

First-year and returning students affected or displaced by the recent flooding in parts of Eastern Kentucky were granted early move-in privileges on Sunday, Aug. 7. MSU will continue to support our students and families in Eastern Kentucky and partner with our community organizations for assistance.

Emergency resources are available to students via the MSU Foundation thanks to the generous support of alumni and friends. The NEST Fund - Needs for Eagle Support in Trying Times - supports student emergency needs including food support, school supplies, transportation costs and more. If you know of an MSU student who could benefit from these programs, visit www.moreheadstate.edu/student-affairs/eagle-essentials
