Poet e. nina jay visits campus Sept. 1
Poet e. Nina Jay will visit Morehead State on Thursday, Sept. 1, for a workshop, reading and speak-out event.
The poetry workshop is from 2-4 p.m. in the 3rd Floor open space of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC.)
A poetry reading and speak-out titled “Keep Your Hands Off My Body!” will be held at CoffeeTree Books, 159 E Main St., from 7 to 9 p.m.
“Gender Studies is excited to host poet and activist e. nina jay at MSU Sept. 1,” said Dr. Bernadette Barton, professor of sociology and director of gender studies. “jay will help hold space for University and community members to process the rage and pain of intimate partner violence and the recent retraction of reproductive rights.”
