Morehead State hosts Constitution Day events

Morehead State's Department of History, Philosophy, Politics, Global Studies and Legal Studies is sponsoring several events in honor of Constitution Day.   

On Thursday, Sept. 15, there will be a reading of the U.S. Constitution at the Little Bell Tower at 4 p.m. Students, faculty and staff will participate, and the event is free and open to the public. On Monday, Sept. 19, there will be a panel discussion, "Critical Race Theory and the Constitution," at 6:30 p.m. in 216 Rader Hall. Panelists will be Dr. Benjamin Fitzpatrick, assistant professor of history; Dr. Ric Caric, emeritus professor of global studies; Dr. Jason Holcomb, professor of global studies and Dr. Thomas Kiffmeyer, professor of history.  

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, There will be another panel discussion, "U.S. Supreme Court Preview and Review," at 6:30 p.m. in 112 Rader Hall. Panelists will be David Grise, assistant professor of legal studies and Dr. Douglas Mock, assistant professor of political science.
