MSU announces 2022 Homecoming Court 

Morehead State University has selected candidates for Homecoming Queen and King. The crowning ceremony occurs at halftime during the Eagle football game versus Valparaiso, which starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.       

Homecoming Queen Candidates 

  • Emma Collins is a senior political science major and psychology minor from Georgetown. Her parents are Lori Collins and Scott Collins. She is sponsored by the Student Alumni Ambassadors. 
  • Karina González is a senior double major in biomedical sciences and Spanish from Mt. Sterling. Her mother is Caralampia Gonzalez. She is sponsored by the Academic Honors Students Association.  
  • Chisom Iloegbunam is a senior Marketing major from Union. Her parents are Elizabeth and Victor Iloegbunam. She is sponsored by Chi Omega Sorority. 
  • Ellie Ledford is a senior biomedical sciences major from Mt. Sterling. Her parents are Jon and Whitley Ledford. She is sponsored by Delta Gamma Sorority.  
  • Hope Keeylen is a senior strategic communications major and dance minor from Louisville. Her parents are Phyllis and Gregory Keeylen. She is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.  
  • Grace Twyford is a senior community support services major and biology minor from New Palestine, Indiana. Her mother is Erika Twyford. She is sponsored by the Student Government Association. 

Homecoming King Candidates 

  • Kelton Crank is a senior healthcare management major from Pikeville. His mother is Johnna Stafford. He is sponsored by the Student Government Association. 
  • Caleb Hall is a senior middle grades education math and science major from Louisa. His parents are Randy Hall and Stacy Mckinster. He is sponsored by Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. 
  • Brock McNeil is a senior biomedical sciences major from Ashland. His parents are Brian and Ginger McNeil. He is sponsored by Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. 
  • Lincoln Rose is a senior biomedical sciences major from Blaine. His parents are Chris and Carmella Rose. He is sponsored by Chi Omega Sorority.  
  • Matt Tackett is a senior biomedical sciences major and geography minor from Stanville. His parents are Chris and Connie Tackett. He is sponsored by Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and Kappa Delta Sorority. 
  • Charlie Whelan is a senior marketing major from Morehead. His parents are Rick and Rhonda Whelan. He is sponsored by Delta Gamma Sorority. 

Students will complete Homecoming court voting online. Voting is open at midnight Sunday, Oct. 16, and closes at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18.
